• Valve Shutter (VS-100 Mark II)

  "Valve Shutter" is a safety system developed to prevent secondary accidents due to earthquakes, and to forestall gas explosions and gas poisoning due to gas leaks, using an emergency shutoff valve on the gas cylinder.

  F4000 Series

  Spectra Gases gas safety cabinets are designed to provide maximum protection from hazardous gas cylinder leaks. When connected to a proper exhaust system, a constant gas flow pattern is achieved, ensuring that leakage does not accumulate. A variety of standard gas safety cabinets are available for housing one to four cylinders. Each unit is equipped with strut channel to accommodate the mounting of gas panels, cylinder brackets as well as cylinder shelves.

  • Diffusion Plate: (instead of louvers): Offers better ventilation due to lower air resistance and better flow patterns.

  • Cabinet shell and doors constructed of 11 gauge (0.12” thick) cold rolled steel to provide maximum strength.

  • Self closing, self latching doors with locks.

  • Weather resistant white polyurethane paint.

  • 1/4” thick wire reinforced safety glass.

  • Lockable access hatches designed to maintain 200ft./min. air velocity when open. Hatches allow for safe closing of any valve even in the event of toxic gas leak.

  • 165 degree F sprinkler head.

  • Rubber floor mat provided to ensure a non-slip surface for cylinder.
